ACE Massage Cupping

A specific cup type is chosen depending on the desired effect and is positioned over the area of the body to be treated and suction is created. Using negative pressure, ACE Massage Cupping™ therapy is used to soften tight muscles and tone attachments, loosen adhesions and lift connective tissue, bring hydration and blood flow to body tissues, and drain excess fluids and toxins by opening lymphatic pathways. ACE Massage Cupping™ bodywork is versatile and can easily be modified to accomplish a range of techniques, from lymphatic drainage to deep tissue and fascial release. This complements many health modalities ranging from spa treatments to medical massage.

Active Isolated Stretching

Developed by Aaron Mattes, Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) is a dynamic system for improving your flexibility and overall well-being. As you probably already know, stretching your muscles not only reduces your chance of injury, but also strengthens your tendons and improves your circulation.

Cancer/Oncology Massage

Oncology Massage is a special type of massage developed specifically for cancer patients. Cancer patients have unique needs which must be addressed to make sure that a massage is beneficial to their health. I focus my attention on creating a gentle, nurturing environment for you to relax into.

Chair Massage

Chair massage is a popular way of relieving stress and releasing tension right in your home or workplace. You receive your massage in a specialized ergonomic chair which I can bring to your location or may also be done in my office. In addition to the usual health benefits of massage, another benefit of chair massage is that it is done over the clothing. With seated massage, you can avoid the discomfort and awkwardness that you may feel in disrobing for a traditional massage. Also, chair massage sessions are usually shorter than traditional massage, making it convenient enough to fit into your busy schedule.

CranioSacral (SM)

CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle yet powerful technique that is effective in releasing neck pain, back pain, and mental stress (among other things). It does this by optimizing the movement of cerebrospinal fluid through the spine and around the skull. Developed by physician William Sutherland, this therapy provides a very soothing and relaxing healing experience.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.

Facial Drainage/Contour Cupping

Facial cups are smaller and softer than those used for the body. They gently pull the skin away from deeper layers of fascia without leaving marks. The suction promotes increased oxygen-rich blood circulation and lymph flow, strengthens skin and connective tissues, stimulates cells responsible for collagen production, and relaxes muscle tension. Includes facial cleansing with micellar water, application of Complete Nourishment facial oil to make the cup gliding techniques very comfortable and relaxing, and finishes with a fragrant Bulgarian Rose hydrosol mist.

Facial Massage

Facial Massage is specifically designed to focus on relaxing the muscles of the scalp, face, and neck. This massage technique helps in reducing headaches and migraines, relieves sinus pressure and congestion and improves symptoms of TMJ disorder. Facial massage also increases circulation and lymph flow for healthy skin. Includes an exfoliating cleanser and clarifying mineral mask that are removed with hot towels and a rich moisturizing cream.

Full Spectrum Infrared Sauna With Himalayan Salt

Soothing infrared light rays penetrate deeply into the body's cellular level to promote detoxification and leave you feeling relaxed and revitalized. Our full spectrum infrared sauna is a great way to purify, boost energy, and burn calories! Up to 600 in a single session. Full spectrum includes the healing benefits of all three wavelengths (near, mid and far) to assist you in achieving your optimal health and wellbeing. It’s a proven and effective tool to remove toxins, strengthen immune function, relieve muscle and joint pain, improve circulation, increase cardiac output and metabolic rate, improve skin tone and clarity, and rejuvenate your mind.

Included in every treatment is aromatherapy, calming music, and Chromotherapy -the science of using color to adjust body vibrations to frequencies that increase healing and harmony!

What happens when we also add Himalayan Salt to the Infrared Sauna?

In addition to the benefits of the infrared sauna, adding Himalayan Salt releases negatively charged ions which serve to purify the circulating air as well as allow our bodies to reap health benefits including stress reduction, energy increases, and mood boosts at a biochemical level.

By gently heating the Himalayan salt, the moisture attracting properties of the salt are activated, allowing the natural humidity in the air to condense on the surface of the salt blocks, triggering the natural ionization process. During this process, the salt releases negative ions that in turn attach themselves to dust, bacteria, and other pollutants, effectively purifying the circulating air. Some more of the added benefits include but are not limited to:

  • Relieve Muscle Cramps
  • Increased Bone Strength
  • Promote Sleep
  • Improve Vascular Health
  • Regulate Blood Pressure
  • Relieve Allergy Symptoms
  • Regulate Water Content in Body
  • Achieve a Healthy pH Balance
  • Regulate Blood Sugar
  • Generate Hydroelectric Energy
  • Aide in Digestion
  • Improve Respiratory Health

When the effect of pure Himalayan salt is added to Infrared Sauna, the result is a truly superior sauna experience.

Geriatric Massage

Geriatric massage is a form of massage designed to meet the specific needs of the elderly. It helps to improve blood circulation, relieve pain, and also increase range of motion. If you are elderly, geriatric massage can help you maintain and improve your overall health, as well as regain certain physical functions that have been reduced due to aging. In addition, since the elderly don't typically receive enough physical touch, this massage can also help alleviate symptoms of loneliness or depression.

Hot Stone Therapy

Hot Stone Therapy is a style of massage where heated stones are placed at specific sites on your body to deepen relaxation and promote circulation in your muscles. Muscles that are heated with these stones release tension and stress much more deeply and quickly than with a traditional massage. The overall experience is very relaxing, nurturing, and rejuvenating.

Lymphatic Drainage

Lymphatic Drainage Therapy aims to gently and rhythmically move the lymph through the body, especially swollen areas of the body, relieving pressure and enhancing the functioning of the immune system. As both a preventative and remedial technique, LD can be used for a wide range of purposes including faster recovery from injury, reduction of swelling and discomfort from pregnancy, and strengthened resistance to illness.

Myofascial Release

Myofascial release is a form of soft tissue therapy intended to eliminate pain, increase range of motion, and rebalance the entire body. It does this by using massage techniques to stretch the fascia and release the bonds that exist between the fascia, muscles and bones. Fascia is the connective tissue that connects and covers all muscles, organs, and skeletal structures of the body. Direct myofascial release is sometimes known as deep tissue work. Indirect release applies light pressure and gently stretches the fascia; this allows for increased blood circulation and relief from pain.

Pregnancy Massage

Pregnancy Massage is a style of bodywork designed specifically for pregnant women. Pregnancy is a time when a woman's body endures tremendous stress due to dramatic physical and emotional changes. Using various techniques specially developed for the expecting mother, Pregnancy Massage helps release the pain and discomfort experienced throughout pregnancy. The benefits are profound, including emotional support, the relief of joint pain due to extra weight and postural imbalance, and improved breathing and relaxation.

Reflexology

Reflexology is a type of bodywork that focuses on applying pressure to the specific nerve zones in your feet. Unlike other foot massages that intend to mostly relieve tension in the feet themselves, reflexology is a far more in-depth science that aims to harmonize your entire body. According to reflexology, every part of the human body is mapped into your feet. Reflexology treatments have been found to be highly effective for conditions such as allergies, headaches, and depression.

Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.

Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger Point Therapy is a style of bodywork that focuses on stimulating and releasing \"trigger points\" in your body. Trigger points are tender areas of tension similar to acupressure points, except they occur in the belly of the muscle rather than along the energy pathways of the body. These \"knots\" are built up throughout a person's life due to physical, mental, and/or emotional stress. During a session, focused pressure is applied through a variety of techniques order to release your trigger points. This process can be quite painful at times, yet the effects are lasting and profoundly transformative.
